Malmaison - the château where Joséphine Bonaparte grew roses while her husband rewrote the map of Europe. She collected plants the way he collected countries. Obsessive. Excessive. Unapologetic. By the time she died, she had cultivated over 250 varieties of roses, and the estate had become something between a botanical garden and a fever dream.

This fabric is that energy.

Leopard and roses. Animal and botanical. The predator and the cultivated. Stripes of Bali blue holding it all together like the frame around a painting you can’t stop looking at. It shouldn’t coexist. It DOES coexist. And once you see it, everything else looks like it’s trying too hard to make sense.

Gloria von Thurn und Taxis would have put this on a gilt chaise in an emerald room and called it Tuesday.
