The compact repeat works for smaller upholstery applications, and the generous width minimizes seam count on larger pieces. Thirty-six yards at 53-inch width covers approximately 159 square feet, which translates to a substantial sectional plus coordinating chairs, a canopy bed with full curtain treatment, or enough yardage to upholster every seat in a dining room and still have fabric left for throw pillows.
