Somewhere between Kathmandu and Cap d'Antibes. East of the Canary Islands, west of anywhere you've actually been. A place that exists primarily on fabric labels and in the imaginations of people who would rather be there than here.
Alan Campbell traveled. He named patterns after the places he went - or the places he wished he'd gone - or the places that sounded like places even if they weren't. Candu is one of those. Don't ask for coordinates. You won't get them.
What we CAN tell you: Dark Lilac on White Belgian Linen/Cotton. The purple that's not trying to be purple - it's trying to be the last light of the day in a place you can't quite find on a map.
