Lyford Diamond Blotch started as fabric. For forty years it’s been the pattern designers choose when a client says “blue and white” and means it seriously—not “I saw something on Pinterest,” but “my grandmother had this in Southampton and I want my daughter to have it too.”
Then someone asked for it as wallpaper. Not fabric on the walls (expensive, difficult, shows every flaw). Wallpaper. Handprinted in the USA on American-made paper, the same diamond lattice that works on a sofa now scaled to work on walls. French blue on white, 22.71” wide, 34 3/8” vertical repeat. The geometry is forgiving—wallpaper this crisp aligns itself. Enough to do a powder room floor to ceiling. Or even a bedroom that stops traffic. One hundred twenty yards are in the warehouse. When they sell, the pattern returns to fabric-only status. This is the window.
