This pattern has been in continuous production since the mid-1960s, which in the textile business is the equivalent of geological time. Most patterns last a season, maybe two. The fact that Bunga Print is still here - still selling, still working in rooms that look nothing like the one in our vintage photo - means it's solving a problem that doesn't change across decades. The stylized flowers and leaves have enough structure to read as intentional pattern, enough movement to avoid looking rigid, and enough restraint in the color palette (China blue, white, touches of other blues and neutrals) that it works as well on a contemporary slipper chair as it did on that 1960s sofa where someone actually sat down to have tea with her daughter.

This is cotton sateen, which means it's suited for lighter-duty applications - duvet covers, pillow shams, curtains, occasional chairs that get looked at more than sat in. Twenty-two yards gives you serious range: a full duvet and sham set with matching curtain panels, or enough upholstery yardage for a pair of chairs and a bench, or the kind of dramatic floor-length curtains that make a room feel finished. The 54-inch width and 35-inch repeat mean you're working with substantial scale - full motifs, minimal waste. This is handprinted in the USA on American-woven cotton ground, lot J58474 A. When these twenty-two yards are gone, this particular run is finished. The pattern will come back - it always does - but this specific lot won't.

This is on a cotton sateen fabric that is suitable for lighter uses like duvet covers and pillow shams.   If you are planning a larger project, additional yardage from this lot may be available.
