There is a category of fabric that exists to outlast everything around it. Trevira is in that category. Stain-resistant, rated to 30,000 double rubs on the Wyzenbeek test, woven and printed in the USA - this is what gets specified when the room in question will be used by actual people, repeatedly, without mercy. Hotels know this. Restaurants know this. Now you know this.
What makes Carlo II interesting is that it doesn't look like it's trying to survive anything. The geometric print - a tight diamond trellis with a repeated medallion motif in steel gray - has the composed precision of a pattern that has decided exactly what it is and requires no further discussion. From across a room it reads as sophisticated texture. Up close it reveals itself as a small-scale geometric with genuine Op Art undertones - the kind of thing that rewards attention without demanding it.
Twenty-three yards in two pieces from the same dyelot: 21 yards and a 2-yard companion cut. The 21 yards is a full commercial application - seating for a boutique hotel sitting room, banquette upholstery for a restaurant that takes its interiors seriously, or enough for a large residential project where durability is not a compromise but a requirement. The 2-yard piece is the accent: lumbar pillows, a bench, the one chair in the room that works harder than the others.
