I am Bali Isle. Aqua on almost white paper — not quite white, which is the correct choice, because pure white would have made me clinical and clinical is the one thing a large-scale ikat peacock print refuses to be. Twenty-five inch repeat, 24 inches wide, handprinted in America on American paper.
The scale is the point. From across the room I am texture and movement. Up close I am a peacock mid-display, which is to say: completely committed and entirely aware of being watched.
