Rattan is not bamboo. This distinction has been ignored for approximately four centuries by everyone selling furniture.
True rattan is a climbing palm - a vine, technically - native to the tropical forests of Southeast Asia. It is flexible, extraordinarily strong, and willing to be woven into almost anything. Colonial administrators put it in their chairs. Louis XVI put it in his palace. Marcel Breuer wove it into the seats of his tubular steel chairs in 1925 and called it modern. It was already four thousand years old.
Club Cane takes the geometry of that weave - the interlocking diagonal rhythm that makes a caned chair seat structurally sound - and prints it on American paper in custom cream, taupe, and light blue. 27 inches wide. 30-inch vertical repeat. Handprinted in the USA on paper made in the USA.
It does not require a coast. It requires a wall.
