Quadrille Fabric: Carlo II - Custom Pumice on White 100% Cotton Sateen
Carlo came back.
You met him in Soft Windsor Blue - the charming second act, the one who arrives late to the palazzo apologizing in three languages. That one sold in hours.
This is his quieter cousin. Custom Pumice on white cotton sateen - the color of old stone, of morning fog, of the wall behind the painting everyone's actually looking at. A small-scale Italian damask that coordinates with Veneto, Volpi, and Puccini, but also knows when to let something else lead.
Cotton sateen has a sheen that linen doesn't - a softness, a drape. This is bedding fabric. This is curtain-that-catches-the-light fabric. This is the thing that makes the floral on the headboard make sense.
Two yards. The last of him in this colorway. Enough for the pillows that tie the room together.
Carlo doesn't demand attention. He just makes everything else look intentional.
