China Seas Fabric: Amazon - Custom Leaf / Lime / Blue on White Belgian Linen / Cotton

Amazon is the China Seas print that does what its name promises — it fills the room the way a canopy fills a forest. The scale is unapologetic: massive tropical leaves in overlapping layers, drawn with enough botanical specificity that you could probably identify the species if you knew your way around a conservatory, but painted with the loose, gestural quality of someone working from memory rather than a field guide. This is not a polite palm frond on a pillow. This is the view looking straight up from the forest floor, the full overhead press of leaf on leaf, light filtering through in the spaces between.

Custom leaf green and lime with a blue so pale it reads as white — which means this is effectively a two-color print masquerading as three. The greens do all the work, shifting from deep leaf to acid lime within a single frond, and the white ground provides the light source.
