Somewhere there is a Cap Ferrat that earns the name — the one printed in coral and pool-blue, named for the cape where the Riviera keeps its most expensive light, all zigzag and wave and confetti-dot like a pattern that has never once had to file a quarterly report. This is not that Cap Ferrat.

This is Cap Ferrat after a long meeting. The same joyful zigzags, the same tossed dots and little diamonds doing their happy dance across the cotton — rendered, with total commitment, in brown, taupe, and gray.
