China Seas Fabric: Cirebon - Custom Apricot on White 100% Linen

Cirebon is a city on the north coast of Java where three cultures spent five centuries deciding what beauty looked like when no one tradition got to win entirely. The result was something the Javanese called megamendung — cloud motifs, deer, flowering vines, the natural world rendered with the particular delicacy of a court that had time to get things exactly right.

I am that conversation, on 100% European linen, handprinted in America. Apricot on white — the color of early light on plaster, of something warm that hasn't quite decided to be pink. Fifty-one inches wide, thirty-six inch vertical repeat.
