Quadrille Sevilla Damask - Custom Turquoise on Tint

The word damask carries a lot of historical baggage - centuries of formal dining rooms, heavy draperies, interiors that took themselves very seriously. Sevilla knows this and has made different choices. The turquoise here is so pale it’s almost a rumor of color, printed on a tinted ground that reads warm in certain light and nearly white in others. The effect is a damask that has been through the wash a few times, in the best possible sense - all the formality is still present in the bones of the pattern, but the attitude has relaxed considerably.

This is a 100% linen, handprinted in the USA on European ground. The 12” repeat is tight enough to work across curved surfaces without fighting the upholsterer. Twelve yards is genuine sofa territory, or a full set of dining chairs, or curtains for a room that wants to feel like it costs more than it does without announcing that fact.

The custom color note matters: this turquoise is its own thing, mixed for a specific lot. It will not match standard Quadrille turquoise. It will, however, match a sensibility that prefers its color the way it prefers its conversations - present but not loud.

This is a custom color - it will NOT match Quadrille standard color with the same name.
