China Seas Wallpaper: Bali Isle - Custom Dark Camel on Almost White Paper (FIVE YARD MINIMUM)

The ikat patterns of coastal Bali were never meant to sit still. They were woven as ceremonial cloths — geringsing, endek, songket — and the deliberate irregularities in the warp-and-weft were not mistakes but proof that human hands had been involved in something sacred. China Seas translated that textile vocabulary onto paper, hand-screened in the USA with a 25-inch repeat that gives the stylized forms room to breathe across a wall. Twenty yards at 24" printed width on 27" untrimmed paper is a small room done properly, or a single wall done unforgettably. Five-yard minimum, untrimmed, with join marks — your installer will know exactly what to do with them.
Dark Camel on Almost White is the colorway for people who want pattern without announcement. The camel is not gold, not tan, not any shade that arrives with opinions about the rest of the room — it's the color of raw silk that has been sitting in good light for a long time, warm enough to read as intentional and quiet enough to let the furniture do the talking. Against the almost white ground, the ikat forms hover rather than land, which is exactly what they did on the original Balinese cloths. This is wallpaper that makes a room feel like it has always looked this way.
