Quadrille Fabric - Amazing Grace - Multi on Ivory Belgian Linen / Cotton

The same design exists in two emotional registers, which is something very few patterns can manage without losing coherence.

In the Old Lilacs colorway, the cherubs are presiding over something — urns, fountains, the general administration of grandeur. In this one, they are traveling. The ships are going somewhere. The blue-green palette — the color of harbor water on a clear day, of the Atlantic before it gets serious — changes the allegory entirely.

This is not the court of Versailles. This is the moment before departure. The same baroque vocabulary, deployed in the key of anticipation rather than arrival.
