Quadrille Fabric: Carlo II - Custom Green on White 100% Linen

Carlo II is Volpi's quieter sibling in the Veneto family — the same coordinate group of small-scale Italian-inspired prints that designers use to build rooms around the bigger patterns without letting the supporting cast go silent. Where Volpi scatters a single motif across the cloth like confetti, Carlo II locks its stars into a grid — a lattice of small, precise medallions that reads as woven damask from across a room and reveals itself as a printed geometric only up close. The repeat is tiny: thirteen inches horizontal, four and a half vertical. That kind of density means the pattern tiles so seamlessly that your eye stops looking for the repeat and starts reading it as texture, which is exactly what a coordinate is supposed to do.

Custom green on white on a hundred-percent linen is the version that bridges two worlds. The green is quiet enough to sit beside a neutral scheme without introducing a "color," but specific enough to pick up the greens in a larger-scale print — a Paradise Garden, a Happy Garden, any of the big Quadrille botanicals that need a second fabric to carry through to the trim pillows and the chair backs.
