The name is modest and the pattern is not. Petite Zig Zag is an Alan Campbell design that takes the most elemental geometric move — the chevron — and prints it with just enough irregularity to remind you that a human hand was involved. The zig doesn't quite mirror the zag. The lines thicken and thin. What could be rigid wallpaper-book geometry becomes instead something closer to ikat or hand-drawn brushwork, which is the entire difference between a pattern you notice and a pattern you live with.

This is a custom colorway in jungle green on a tinted linen-cotton ground — a warm, saturated green that sits somewhere between olive and chartreuse and refuses to commit to either. At forty-eight inches wide with a tight eight-inch vertical repeat, it tiles densely enough to read as texture from across a room and as individual chevrons up close. The room photographs tell the rest of that story: it plays beautifully at scale on upholstery, where the tight repeat means you're not fighting pattern matching across cushions and arms.
