There is a reason the phrase "blue and white" has survived four centuries of decorating trends, two world wars, and the entire history of minimalism: it is correct. Not fashionable. Not bold. Not "having a moment." Correct. The way a well-set table is correct, or a handwritten note, or the sound of ice in a glass on a summer afternoon.

China Flower is blue and white at its most architectural — a grid of stylized blossoms and leaves that reads as tile from across the room and as botanical illustration up close. The geometry is Islamic by way of Delft by way of someone who understood that a flower is also a mathematics problem. Each bloom sits inside its square like a theorem inside a proof: self-contained, resolved, quietly perfect.

Windsor Blue on white — the quieter, more considered cousin of French blue. Where French blue is a café in afternoon sun, Windsor blue is the same café at dawn, before anyone arrives, when the light is still deciding. It has been launching breakfast rooms, studies, and guest bedrooms for longer than most decorators have been practicing.

It will never stop working. It does not know how.
